Black as a color is so versatile, classic and trendy. A color that will never fade out of fashion and will always be trendy, especially in ethnic wears. No matter how auspicious red looks in weddings or how elegant white looks for puja ceremonies and how gorgeous bright colors looks in sarees and lehengas, black will always be the color that dominates. A plain black kurta is something that all the girls have in their closet. It is something that can be styled for all the events from formal meeting to crazy after work parties. Here are some formal, informal and classics looks to pull off in a plain black self-printed kurta.

1. Casual look: We all like adding an indo western look in our routine. Wearing a black kurta with blue ripped or normal jeans is a good way to execute it. Finish the look by wearing chunky jhumkas and sneakers or converse shoes. This helps you to wear ethnics comfortably.
2. Formal look: Wearing Kurtas to work is very rare amongst the young generation that prefers wearing formal suits and pants. But there is a way to wear such comfortable piece at work without any hustle. Pair up red palazzo pants with black kurta. Finish the look with a chunky choker and normal sandals or heels.
3. Ethnic ace: So many times, we get confused about what to wear at functions or events that are not so formal or informal. It may be a puja or Diwali get together or some auspicious event. At such times, the quickest and easiest look to ace at is wearing black kurta with black leggings with a multicolored or red/maroon/pink banarsi dupatta. Finish the look by wearing juttis or carrying an ethnic clutch and heavy jewelry. (Either heavy earrings or a neck piece).
4. Reception look: The chances and thought of wearing a black colored kurta at a reception is very rare. Pair up a white sharara or skirt with black kurta with some heavy choker, earrings or clutch. This way you can ace the reception look in black color.
5. Wedding look: Wearing plain black at a wedding may not be a good option. Paring a wedding color like golden or red mayjust change the whole idea and the look of the outfit.

Tip: Do not wear more than two heavy jewelry piece together. Wear only one piece at a time; a choker, heavy earrings, heels or a beaded clutch. Not all together. This can make you look very flashy and add too much of unnecessary bling to the outfit.
