Contrast-Colored Outfit Idea.

So many times we underestimate our inner diva by going as per the old system of wearing matching clothes or top/bottom. Being adamant about wearing certain color scheme. It is valid to wear it in certain situations but sometimes it’s okay to pick different, contrast-colored pieces and pair them together. For example: it’s not always necessary to wear yellow top on grey pants, it can also be paired with dark, vibrant colors like red, maroon, royal blue can also be worn. Barriers should be broken to set new style or trend. So many times it happens that the combinations we could’ve not even thought about, turn out so beautiful. Contrast is nothing but breaking the monotony of a same colored outfit. The fact that not matching a certain accessory with the outfit creates a statement in the look. Another example of a contrast outfit is wearing gray dress with orange tassel earrings or some bold or vibrant colored heels. These out of place things make the outfit extra-ordinary. Here are a few outfits that you can wear in your day to day life.

1. The Casual way: This is one of the most basic looks. Pairing a red Checkered shirt with blue denim is considered to be an on the go look for most of the girls.
2. Drama: Wearing a plain black dress with black boots or heels is very basic. You can add some drama to the outfit by wearing bold colored heels or earrings like red, orange or blue.
3. Traditional Look: Every girl is not comfortable in wearing heavy Indian outfits like dress pieces or salwaar suit. In such situation, pair up a white kurta with white salwaar or palazzo pants. Finish the look by adding heavy chunky jhumkas and juttis.
4. Ethnic look: To all the girls who love adding indo-western touch in their day to day routine, here’s what you can do; pair your black kurta with black leggings/palazzos/salwaar. Finish the look by wearing a multi colored dupatta over it.
5. The Chic Factor: Wearing all vibrant colors together can go absolutely wrong if not done correctly. Pairing white spaghetti top with a purple/navy blue shrug and black jeans is a perfect day to night look.
6. Use it Right: Most of the times we don’t know how and where to use our heavy Indian jewelry other than weddings. Here’s a way to wear your heavy chokers with dresses that have a plunging or deep neckline.
7. Summer Way: We all know that floral print is our best friend in summers. Pairing a floral skirt with a plain contrast color; for example a sky blue colored floral skirt with plain dark/navy blue t-shirt is a good option.
8. Deepika Padukone’s look in YJHD: We all know about this look of Naina in YJHD. It is so basic yet happening; the color break in the outfit doesn’t hurt the eye to see three different colors in the same look.
